You Said, We Did

What we have done in response to the comments you have submitted.

  • Extended the opening hours of Essentials to 10.00pm.

  • Stopped the sales of bottled water, installing permanent fountains around the Union building.

  • Replaced all plastic bags with three ‘Green’ options: ‘The Big Paper Bag’, ‘The Big Green Bag’ and ‘Cotton on to this’ bag.

  • Continue to recycle all cans and plastic across the building.

  • Accept card payment and offer cash back in the Old Bar and Terrace.

  • Provided a website with up-to-date crime statistics from the West Yorkshire Police. This website is called Knowledge.
