Community Skills Project
The Community Skills Project aims to find students with particular skills or knowledge and link them to volunteering opportunities within the local community and charitable organisations. The kind of skill called upon could be anything from design to accounting. Likewise, we welcome registration from charitable and community organisations, no matter how big or small.
Students
Are you fluent with languages?
Do you know HTML like the back of your hand?
Have you got the artistic genius of Picasso?
Whatever talents you possess, Community Skills Project is a volunteering scheme that can help you develop and increase your employability. You could be doing almost anything from design to accounting, languages to website design.
Register with the scheme and we will tell you about the latest volunteering opportunities that could see you using your skills for the community's benefit! To register and hear about suitable volunteering opportunities, email volunteer@leeds.ac.uk.

Organisations
With so many talented students looking for ways to develop their skills, it makes sense to utilise these talents in practical and constructive ways for the benefit of your organisations and groups. Signing up is easy and once you have registered a volunteering opportunity, we will try to find a suitable volunteer for you by using our database of volunteers or by promoting the opportunities to our departmental contacts.
