LUBS Reps push 24/7

Post Graduate (PG) students in Leeds University Business School don't get access to their building at all on Sundays and for only three hours on Saturday! Student representatives within LUBS, campaigning on the issue, were particularly put out when they discovered that nearly all other reserach PG students get 24/7 getting access to their building to study - making PG students a massive exceptiont to the rule. Despite the LUBS management agreeing to change the arrangements students are still having to use the library or facilities at home on the weekends.

Like other PG students at the University PG students in LUBS are struggling to secure a permanent desk space - forcing them to use the masters cluster or go to the library despite their position within the academic community.
