Did you know that as well as the Student Advice Centre, the Unipol outlet in the basement of LUU provides a full range of househunting services?
The outlet has a number of computers on which you can look through the Unipol website and search for a house from an accredited Landlord.
In the Outlet you can check whether your chosen landlord is a Code member, or a Code supporter. The friendly staff can check your contract and give you advice on how to check your deposit will be protected, how to negociate with the landlord and much more.
The outlet also works very closely with the Student Advice Centre, so that if you are having problems with contracts, admin fees, or anything else, the outlet staff can phone up to the Advice Centre and arrange you an appointment.
