Leeds University Union is a charity that helps over 32,000 students love their time at Leeds. Located at the heart of campus, the Union is a space to meet people, make new friends and get involved.
Six elected students are the leaders of our organisation, backed by volunteers and staff. A lot happens in our building, but it’s also a hub for activity across campus, throughout Leeds and beyond.
By providing opportunities for development, support when things go wrong and representation to create change on issues that matter, our aim is to make a real difference.
We are looking for highly motivated individual with experience of working in a fast paced HR department with payroll experience. In our busy HR team, no 2 days are ever the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff and managers and provide us with the high quality administrative and payroll support we need. You will process either the weekly or monthly payroll and ensure a high level of service is delivered at all times.
You’ll be a natural organiser with a high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Previous administration and Payroll experience is a must, along with excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
