Settle Stories is now looking for reliable Volunteer Event Assistants and Event Managers to support the smooth running of events in the annual storytelling festival in October, which brings award-winning tellers and international artists to the Yorkshire Dales. The festival has a growing national and international profile and has been featured in the media including The Guardian, Yorkshire Post and Radio 4.
As a Volunteer Event Manager, you will take overall responsibility for a specific event (or series of events) in the Festival Programme. This will include liaising with artists and venues regarding requirements, managing the volunteer stewards for the event, attending meetings as required prior to the festival and post festival feedback.
As a Volunteer Events Assistant, you will steward events, attending meetings as required prior to the festival and post festival feedback.
