Kaplan UKCAT and BMAT Part-Time Teacher (20 positions)

Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions is seeking part-time teachers to prepare A – level students for the UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) and the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT). Teaching for Kaplan is an excellent way to gain experience, build your CV and earn extra money whilst helping others.

We are looking for medical/dental/science/veterinary students and graduates, based anywhere in the UK that would be available to teach at weekends from late June to October. Teachers will complete their training on the Kaplan curriculum in London or in an online training classroom (if based outside London), and will work in London or various cities across the UK and Ireland. Teachers are paid for their training time.

Candidates that have experience in teaching, public speaking or customer service are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have sat the UKCAT and BMAT and earned a high score. Those who have not taken either exam are welcome to apply, but will be required to sit a Kaplan mock test and gain a high score in order to complete our teacher training programme.

Qualified candidates will be invited to ‘audition’ with a 5-minute sample lesson.  Those who pass the audition will be invited to interview.  Those who pass the interview will be invited into our teacher training programme.  The sooner you apply, the sooner you’ll be ready to teach your first class!
