 Job Purpose           To support the operation of Stylus, Mine and Refectory bars and cloakrooms.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Planning

To contribute to the development and implementation of the department’s plan

 

Working with Others

To work effectively with people, developing productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

 

People Management

To support others enabling them to achieve high standards in all aspects of their work

 

Personal Effectiveness

To ensure that personal knowledge and skills are updated to ensure effectiveness in meeting work objectives

 

Service Delivery

To support the delivery of a customer focused culture enabling the highest level of service to be received by all customers

 

Compliance

To comply with LUU’s internal procedures and all external legal requirements to include Health & Safety and licencing regulations. 

To comply with operational procedures (including those for cash handling and security)

 

General

Such other duties as may be reasonably prescribed by the Venues Management team, appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of this post

 

Others (optional)

 

To be responsible for adhering to merchandising plans to maximise sales

To ensure all marketing communications are up to date and relevant

To attend monthly Supervisor meetings and termly Venues Department meetings.

To ensure the maintenance of the working environment is clean, tidy and safe for both staff and customers

To take part in stocktaking and stock control

To carry out administrative duties as required

To ensure the effective opening and closing of LUU’s venues

To ensure LUU’s venues are cleaned the required standards after each event
