Keeping Fit
There are many benefits to exercise:
- It keeps you fit and healthy. The government recommends half an hour of exercise a day to stay fit.
- It keeps you happy. Exercise releases endorphins (or 'happy chemicals') in your brain that make you feel good, help you relax and lower stress.
- It can be social. Team sports are great for bonding with others. Exercise classes can be attended with friends and sports and activities are a great way to meet new people.
- It is fun! There are many different types of exercise. Find the one that suits you!
