Counselling
The Student Counselling Centre offers individual counselling, a drop-in session, group work and workshops - www.leeds.ac.uk/studentcounselling.
Mental Health Team
The University's Mental Health Team can provide support to students with a long term or emerging mental health issue. See www.equality.leeds.ac.uk/about-us/mental-health-team/ for more information.
Self Help
In conjunction with Leeds Primary Care Trust, the Counselling Centre also run Focused Learning and Self-Help (FLASH) sessions. These include drop-ins with self-help material and one to one self help sessions to teach practical techniques to positively change thinking and behaviour. Support is given to help people try out these skills in daily life.
Term time - drop in times are 2.00pm to 3.00pm, appointments 3.00pm to 5.00pm.
