Submit Your Idea...

Use the online form below to submit your ideas for how to make the Union, University or city of Leeds better for students.

What happens to these ideas?

When you submit an Idea it will be discussed at a forum. This will be either the Better Union forum, Better University forum, or Better Leeds forum, depending on the aim of your idea.
These forums will be attended by a randomly selected student panel who, a little bit like a jury, will make a common sense decision about your idea. If the panel agree with your idea, it will be implemented by the Student Exec.

Does your idea affect the Bye Laws?

Please note: If you are submitting an idea that will affect the Bye-Laws then you must specify which Bye-Law(s) will be changed and what the new wording will be. So that they don't eat into your word limit, these changes can be submitted as a supporting document to democracy@luu.leeds.ac.uk.

Download and view the Bye-Laws (pdf). If you're not sure, or need help please contact the Campaign and Democracy Support Office on 0113 380 1495 or email democracy@luu.leeds.ac.uk.

Please be aware that if you submit an idea then you will be asked to attend the appropriate forum to discuss your Idea!
