I Love My Personal Tutor
From Monday 1st March to Wednesday 21st April, all undergraduates and taught postgraduate students have the opportunity to acknowledge and honour the hardwork and support of their personal tutors.
So if you feel your personal tutor has been exceptionally approachable or supportive, offered you significant assistance or advice, or helped you to enjoy university more, then nominate them below and they could receive a much coveted LUU 'I Love My Personal Tutor' award! If your tutor always makes time to help solve your problems, is a wizz at the personal tutorial web-forms, or goes the extra mile to help with your academic or personal development, we want to hear about them.
The winners will be announced at the 'I Love My Personal Tutor' awards ceremony during Celebrate week in April.
To nominate your personal tutor, please type 100-200 words in the box below and we’ll let you know if your tutor or department is successful. Please tell us why you think they should win the award!
We are looking for tutors who are, for example,
- Good listeners and easy to talk to
- Interested and in your academic and general well-being
- Enthusiastic about being your personal tutor
Consider nominating your personal tutor if they:
- Make time to see you no matter what
- Have been particularly encouraging or supportive
- Inspire you to reach your potential or try something new
Your nomination will be sent to Mike Gladstone, Education Officer, and Maddie Harris-Smith, Welfare Officer.
