Elections.
Various elections take place throughout the year including the Residents' Committees elections and the Student Executive elections. Find out more about standing and voting in elections.

Referendum.
A referendum takes place if a consensus is not reached, on your idea, at the Better Forums. Students will then get to vote 'Yes' or 'No' to your idea. Find out more about proposing ideas and voting in referendum.

Your idea will be discussed at the Better Forums; three forums made up of Union reps (below) and invited students.

Your Reps!

The Student Exec
Six students, elected by students, who listen to, represent, and work for students.

Course and School Reps
Represent students on a course and school level to ensure they are recieving the best education.

Activities Reps
A group of elected students who support over 300 clubs and societies at Leeds University Union.

Resident's Committees
Students in each hall of residence who organise events and activities for students to get involved and make great friends.

Community Reps
Nine students who work in areas around campus to create better relationships between students and the local community.
