Each year, around 9,000 students graduate from the University of Leeds. Graduation days provide students with a chance to be proud of their achievements, their university and their student union. This winter’s graduation ceremonies take place from 8th - 19th July.

To ensure that each student has the best possible graduation experience, Leeds University Union will be hosting all activities except the ceremonies. This will include gown hire, photography, refreshments, communal areas and more.

The Union will be open from 8am during the graduation period and will provide a range of spaces and services to graduands, family and friends.

To help you make the most of your graduation, here's some helpful advice that will make your day easier.

	Need a taxi? You can book a taxi from the help desk. Alternatively call Amber Cars 0113 2022117.
	If you need help with anything whilst you are in the union, just find one of our friendly members of staff and ask them for advice.
	Pins! If you are wearing a dress without buttons to graduation, you may want to bring pins to secure your hood.
	You can buy graduation gifts/memorabilia and Leeds hoodies from Gear at graduation. Click here.
	Don't forget to charge your camera - you'll look back on this day for the rest of your life! Red t-shirt staff will be on hand to take photos for you, or pop down to the 'I've loved my time at Leeds' area for more photo opportunities.
