The annual Leeds Alumni Sports Day will take place on Saturday 5th May 2012.

Schedule of Events

The University of Leeds Alumni Sports Day is a yearly event which brings together university students, past and present, to compete against one another in their sport of choice.

Since its inception in 2007 over 560 former University of Leeds students have returned to our sporting facilities to represent alumni sports teams in fixtures against our current athletes.

This day provides a great opportunity for University students to spend time with recent graduates in a relaxed environment, allowing them to share experiences about academia, sport and work. It is also our opportunity to show our alumni how we utilise their generous donations in sport and the demonstrable impact these investments are having.

Over the past 3 years, over £70,000 of alumni funding has been used to support the development of our University sports clubs across a wide range of areas:

- Development of the LEEDS Gryphons Programme 

- Coaching support 

- Support services support 

- Sports scholarships

- Leadership training and development
