As one of our most popular events last year, the famous 3 Peak Challenge gives you the chance to conquer the 3 biggest mountains in Britain: Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon, all in 24 hours!

The National 3 Peak Challenge has been a popular test of mental and physical strength throughout the hiking community for over 40 years.

Participants attempt to climb Ben Nevis in Western Scotland (4,409 ft), Scarfell Pike in the Lake District (3,209 ft) and Snowdon in North Wales (3,560 ft), a total of 11,178 ft and 415 miles of driving all within 24 hours.

RAG’s first attempt at this challenge was in 2010 and it was a huge success. Our volunteers surprised their friends, families and even themselves when almost all of the 42 participants successfully completed the challenge in under 24 hours.

With a bit of hard work and dedication (and a good pair of walking boots) completing the 3 Peaks is can certainly be achieved and will be a brilliant accomplishment. So if you want to test your limits whist catching some of Britain’s most beautiful scenery, why not sign up?
