Q: Are disabled facilities available?
All our rooms are fully accessible. For further information contact Louise or Charlie.
Do your rooms have an AV and IT facilities?
Most of our rooms come fully equipped with a projector, screen and PC. Please ask Charlie or Louise for further information when booking. Additional requirements such hearing loops, TV’s, DVD players and laptops can be hired in for you at an additional cost.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, just let us know what you require and we will do our best to oblige.
Do you offer accommodation?
Outside of term-time we work with the University of Leeds and accommodation is available on campus. Unfortunately, we don’t although we are more than happy to recommended accommodation near to Leeds University Union. More information can be found on our Local Area page.
Is there a car park near to the Union?
Parking is available on campus on a first come, first served basis, and the charge is £5.00. Spaces can be pre-booked by contacting either Louise or Charlie and giving them your vehicle registration and driver details. Please come to the main entrance by the Parkinson Building. Visit the how to find us section of the website to get directions.
Do you offer discounts?
We’re happy to offer discounts to charities and local small business. Please feel free to ask about our offers when talking to Charlie and Louise.
How do I pay for my event?
On confirming the dates of your event, you will be sent a booking form to fill in. This booking form will give you the total cost of your event including VAT so you are aware of everything and can raise any queries that you may have. No deposit is taken and you will be invoiced after the event. We will require a purchase order number to confirm your booking.
Does you have year-round meeting facilities?
Although we’re a Students’ Union we’re able to offer meeting facilities all year round. Certainly at some points of the year the Union will be busier and you’ll come into more contact with Student’s but that’s half the fun of holding your meeting in a Union.
I am a student, how can I book a room?
If you are a student club or society, contact the LUU Helpdesk. For all other student enquiries, please contact Louise or Charlie.
What is Leeds University Union doing to reduce the impact that its activities have on the environment and improve environmental performance?
