ILUUMS Education is the volunteering and outreach strand of the Music Society (Leeds University Union Music Society, LUUMS) and has many fantastic projects for you to get stuck into!

Artforms Placements

LUUMS Education is delighted to be working with Artforms again this year! These placements enable students to volunteer with one of the many fantastic ensembles Artforms runs. This placement is normally a couple of hours a week during term time and is a great way to get involved with the wider Leeds community!

LUUMS-Action Music Project

In Semester 2, LUUMS Education will be running a project in collaboration with Action, the Leeds student volunteering society. It will be a one day event for children and will involve music making and lots of fun! We are currently looking for 2 Project Co-ordinators to take on this brilliant project! The application form will be available from Wednesday 5th October- please let me know if you would like a copy!

Children's Activity Booklet Project

Working with the University of Leeds International Concert Series, this project is looking for a group of arty volunteers to create an activity booklet for the children who attend the newly developed series of family concerts. The next booklet is due for the February ,2012 concert which, although a long time away, will have limited spaces on the project so please get in touch now if you are interested! Also, if you are interested in gaining experience in event management and/ or stewarding we would also love to hear from you!
