Volunteering Groups

Action is a student-led volunteer group that is free and welcomes anyone who wants to join. We run projects with children, older people and the environment, and are always looking for more opportunities to provide for the needs of the community.

Join Action in three easy steps!

1. IMPORTANT! Please purchase an "Action-Standard Membership" right at the very bottom of this page. Don't worry, we've set the purchase price to £0.00! It's completely free to join Action!

2. Sign up to the Action website  www.leedsaction.co.uk!

3. Visit the Volunteering and Community office between 1-4pm weekdays (level 2 of the Union building). You will need  to fill in a Criminal Records Bureau form (this requires a £10 deposit, which you’ll get back as soon as you volunteer for Action), give us contact details for two references and sign-up for any compulsory training required.

Once all your details have been confirmed you can start signing up for projects online at www.leedsaction.co.uk
