Women's Lacrosse at Leeds is amazing!

Both our 1st and 2nd teams play in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) League every Wednesday and we welcome players of all standards from beginners to the elite. Every Wednesday night after our matches we have fantastic socials with our Social Secs constantly thinking up new and exciting fancy dress themes.

The best parts of our social calender include our big Christmas, Easter and End of year gatherings, Sport’s Ball and an incredible tour during the Easter holidays.

Join our club and you will be making the best decision of your year at Leeds. We guarantee you will make friends for life and have some incredible times along the way.

Training

Mondays. 4.00pm to 6.00pm fitness
Tuesday.5.30pm to 6.30pm strength and conditioning (1st and 2nd team)
Wednesday.BUCS matches
Thursday.5.00pm to 7.00pm (first half hour specifically dedicated to beginners)
Saturday. Friendly matches

Beginners

As well as our two BUCS teams we have a beginner’s squad who this year has their own personal coach to help develop them as players. We encourage any players of any standard to join our club and aim to offer a fun activity for those seeking less serious competition.

Give it a Go

On the 7th November 2011 at 4.00pm to 5.00pm we will be running our first a Give it A Go session of the year. This allows anyone to come along for a taster session and experience our club. Even if you haven’t picked up a lacrosse stick in a while, or have never even heard of the game we want you there.
