Welcome

to the Tenpin Bowling Club, the society to join if you want to bowl in Leeds. Whether you want to bowl in competitions or just socially, you are more than welcome to join. All abilities are welcome as we also offer optional coaching for those who want to improve!

We bowl at AMF Bowling in the Center of Leeds, on Wednesdays from 2.30pm. 3 games for just £5.50 for members

The annual Membership fee is split into 2 tiers:

£10 - Social Membership - for new members of all abilities who want to come down and keep it social on a Wednesday! available for upgrade.

£20 - Competitive Membership - for members who are wanting to compete in tournaments throughout the year, this membership will help subsidise the cost of the tournaments.

Social Members

If you want to join a society where you can turn up on a wednesday afternoon and have relaxed fun...this is the one for you!!! People of all ages and abilities are welcome to come along and join in with our social league, which is handicapped so anyone can win!! This is also a good way to get cheap bowling prices and deals only on offer to "league bowlers". After bowling there is always food and a few drinks to socialise further before a social. Socials are to be planned fortnightly and any new and exciting ideas are always welcome!

Competitions

LUUTBC enter as many competitions throughout the year as possible, the club has been improving in the last few years and is now the THIRD best in the country, we are hoping to improve this next year to be FIRST! There are different tournaments that we go to that include BUCS championships, which we were 3rd last year, BUTBA Cup, which we finished third in after a narrow defeat to Loughborough, and Tour events which vary in format and give opportunities to all abilities. This year we also had two people who were selected for the BUCS team (the British Universities and Colleges great britain team) to play against various opponents. One of these was in the men's team and one was the women's captain. We are looking to improve further our achievements with your help :)
