Welcome

"Welcome to Leeds University Motorsports Society! We are a society for all those interested in all aspects of the world of motorsport! 

Leeds University Motosport Society (MotoSoc) has 2 teams in the BUKC (British University Karting Championship), where we Compete against over 50 other UK Uni's, in karts capable of speeds of over 80mph and 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, there are 9 rounds at 5 tracks nationwide.

If you think your the next Lewis Hamilton and want to get involved in this fiercely competitive sport, then come along to one of the test days that will be advertised and see if you can make the teams!! Even if you've never done it before, don't hesitate in signing up for the test days as its a great opportunity to drive some seriously quick karts!

We also run a social karting session on a regular basis at our local indoor track in leeds. This is great fun and a great chance to get to meet and race against people who have a passion for motorsport.

This year we plan to organise a wide range of social events including meet ups to watch F1 and other forms of motorsport, Trips to watch different formulas of racing and trips to some of the factories to see how these machines are made!

Leeds Motorsports Society caters for all levels of motosport interest and is a great chance to either try something new or continue with a life long interest...
