Leeds University Men's Basketball

Our Club has two teams competing competitively in the BUCS championships. Leeds Uni First Team has various internationals, ex-pros and national championship winning players Our first team plays in BUCS Divsion 2 after a bad season last year. Our second team is currently competing in BUCS Division 3 and have a strong core of developing players.This year we also have a thrid team, which will be a development team. They will be part of the club developing players which will be trying to push into the second team, they will have regular training and games.

We welcome all standards of player and are particularly keen to develop players to compete at higher levels.

 Intramural/Club Nights have been introduced coached by our second team captain for beginners and players who want to play for fun. Our club also has various social activities throughout the year and contains discounts and queue jumps to various Voodoo and Rough Hill events and a Basketball Tour.


 

Training Times
1^st and 2^nd team (members) – Monday 8-10PM The Edge, Friday 5-7PM The Edge
 Developement Squad 4pm-5pm Thursday The Edge
Club Social Basketball Night – Wednesday 9-10PM The Edge

Trials
Trials will be held on Monday 26^th September 8-10PM and Wednesday 28^th September 5-7PM at the edge. Trials cost £5.

Membership
Membership costs £80 and is a one-off payment which includes match fees, transport and social fees for the year.
