Sentinel Towers
About Us
Every hall has a Residents' Committee made up of people like you who are living there, who will organise social, sporting and volunteering events for all of your neighbours.
All Residents' Committees enter teams made up of the students living in their halls into a variety of tournaments and events including football, cricket, netball, squash and a weekly 5k time trial. It is up to the committee to enter the teams so you'll hear about how to get involved in them once the committees have been recruited.
If you'd like to stand for a position on the Residents' Committee then all you need to do is nominate yourself for one of the positions, which include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Public Affairs officer, Events officer, Sports officer and Green Rep.
You can do this between Monday 20th September and Thursday 30th September. Then you'll need to get people to vote for you during the polling period, which is Friday 1st October to Tuesday 5th October at 4pm!
If you don't fancy going for an official position on the Residents' Committee then you can still get involved by voting for your favourite candidates or joining in with the teams that will be recruited to help run events, sports teams and campaigns. Then all you need to do is turn up to the amazing events that the committee organise for you, and have as much fun as you can!
