Residents' Committees
All students that live in university accommodation are automatically eligible to join the Committee for their hall.
These committees are elected in at the beginning of the first term, and organise a vast array of social and sporting events that all students can participate in over the year.
Being involved in the Committee is a great way to improve skills in team work, communication and organisation, and it’s also a great way to make friends.

To join your Residents’ Committee, you can:
- Express your interest by e-mailing Rose Hampton on R.J.Hampton@leeds.ac.uk with your contact details and which hall you live in.
- Sign up at your hall's Welcome Event
Then we’ll get in touch with you about when the election will take place. There’ll be a meeting at your hall, at the beginning of term. Here you can come along and stand for any position you fancy, or you can just come along and have a say in who represents you by voting.
