About Us

 

We are Medsin Leeds: part of Medsin, which is a network 
of different students with an interest in the wider aspect of health.  
 
Medsin's activities aim to promote health as well as to act upon and educate students about health inequalities in our local and global communities.


 

 We have ongoing projects, different campaigns and also join in with other university branches, as well as holding many events
- but these usually all mix up together! Medsin Leeds last year had speakers, conferences, socials, screenings, debates and talks. We are students who are actively striving for a fairer world, reducing inequalities, educating each other on issues that are sometimes overlooked and raising general awareness. Medsin's Vision is "A world where health is a universally realised human right"


 

We usually meet or hold an event every fortnight - depending on when everyone is free, usually wednesday or thursday.

If you need help regarding your club and society, the Development Coordinators, who work in the Union's ARC (the Activities and Resource Centre), provide support, advice and help with all student activities.
