Tealights

About Us

The Leeds Tealights are the University’s sketch comedy group and are currently in their sixth year.

Having recently returned from a successful Edinburgh Fringe run, the Tealights aim to build on this success and are looking for a new cast for the term ahead. No experience is necessary, but an interest in comedy would be nice (ideal).

If you think you have the potential to write and/or perform comedy then please do come along to auditions. The Tealights hold shows each term in Leeds and work towards an Edinburgh show for August, previewing their sketches in various London venues.

The Tealights is an ever-expanding society which means, as a member, you will receive cheaper entry into all Tealights events and other comedy nights in Leeds.

Interested in laughing? Join The Tealights.
