A-capella Singers
About Us
Leeds A Cappella Singers do exactly what we say on the tin- we get together and sing without any instrumental accompaniment! We accept singers of all musical levels, from professional vocalists to first-time singers, and through the year we build up a portfolio of songs which we hope to perform. We rehearse once a week (with extra rehearsals as performances draw near) and also hold socials to relax and get to know each other outside of rehearsals.
We have performed at various university events, notably the Riley Awards and the JCA Awards last year, and we also aim this year to try and make money from some performances to fund the group’s impending purchase of a portable amplifier, which will enable us to also go busking with far more success!

Membership is available after you have passed your audition for this society.
