About Us

Leeds University Union Archery Club is a fun and friendly place to shoot. We welcome anyone - from complete beginner to advanced.

At the start of the year we run a free six week introductory course. This covers all you need to know about shooting and all the relevant health and safety info. It is highly recommended that new members attend this course to get the best out of membership.

The majority of our members shoot recurve (olympic style bows) but we have a few compound and traditional archers. The equipment we provide is recurve. We also have a fully qualified coach.

We have socials and themed shoot throughout the year - where we shoot at more than just targets!

We train in Cromer Terrace which is just behind the union building. We shoot outdoors in the summer at Lawnswood.

Current training times:

Mondays 8-10pm

Wednesdays 8-10pm

Fridays 5-7pm (experienced archers only - on an invitational basis)

We welcome non-students.
