Snowriders
About Us
Leeds Snowriders is the University Of Leeds' Snowsports Club. One of the biggest and best university snowsports clubs in the country.
Whether you're a skier or snowboarder, beginner or pro, our club will have something to suit you.
We take over 600 people on holiday each year, this year we are heading to Val d’Isere at Christmas and Val Thorens at Easter. As well as the two holidays we we run a couple of weekly trips; one to the dry slope at Rossendale, where you can have beginners lessons, take part in race and freestyle training or simply freeride, and the other to the Xscape at Castleford (Snowdome) for an evening freeride session. We also compete in Kings races and BUSC events during the course of the year.
Over the past few years the Snowriders’ socials have become renowned as some of the most fun in Leeds, we start off the year with the Packhorse Social and end with the Oak Social, with socials every 3-4 weeks throughout the year. We also hold a SnowBall after Christmas.
Snowriders allows you to get as involved as you want. We encourage everyone to get as much as they want out of the club each year. For more information and an insight into the club check out our website www.leedssnowriders.co.uk and find us on facebook (Leeds Snowriders).
Big love,
The Committee.
