Welcome to LUU TKD

Tae-Kwon-Do is a Korean martial art and it literally means "The way of the hand and foot". Our society boasts one of the cheapest ways to practice Tae-Kwon-Do for sport and self defense. Even if you're just trying to keep fit, Tae-Kwon-Do is a great start for you if you are a beginner, or more challanging for the fitter people out there.  Beginner or expert, you can get something out of Tae-Kwon-Do.

FIRST SESSION FREE 

COME ALONG TO ONE OF OUR SESSIONS TO TRY OUT TAEKWONDO

Session times

Wed 6.30-8.30pm

Fri 5.30-7.30pm

Sat 10.30am-12.30pm 

 @ Sports Hall 2, the edge

Only £2.50 per session 

Membership (including free insurance to AMA*) = £30 thereafter.

Our friendly group welcomes new members including beginners and trained martial art enthusiasts.

It does not matter if you've never done taekwondo before, it's fun and rewarding to learn. If you have trained up in a different type of martial art you can transfer a lot of your skills to Taekwondo. 

Apart from practicing martial arts we love the social side of our club too and we regularly arrange lots of socials throughout the year.  So even if you just want to meet some people why not come and give it a try. Loose fitting clothing recommended.
