How To Join
It's Easy...to join a club or society!
Joining a sports club or society group at Leeds University Union couldn't be easier. You can join anytime of year and all you need to do is follow the steps below.
1. Find a club or society you are interested in.
Explore the range of sports clubs and societies on offer in the A to Z list of activities Click on the club or society names in this list to read more about them or to find contact details for the President of that club or society.
2. Contact the club or society for more information.
You can find out more about each club or society at their web page. On these pages, there will also be contact details for you to contact them for more information or find out when their next meeting/social takes place. Also, on these pages, some clubs and societies often provide a Facebook link. Should you have any questions at all about the club or society you are interested in, please get in touch with them.
3. Get Involved and join online!
If you want to join a club or society, you can do so online. On each of the club or society pages, there is an 'Add to basket' link next to the membership you want to purchase. You can then either go straight to your basket (see the 'My Basket' link in the top right of the website) and pay, or continue to add other membership products to your basket and pay for them all together.
Not sure what to join?
If you’re not sure what you want to get involved with, why not consider taking part in the Give It A Go programme? This is a programme of taster one-off workshops that run throughout term time. Give It A Go is designed to provide something fun, interesting and different for you to do in your free time. It’s the ideal way to try out something new.
