General Interest Groups

The Vegetarian Food Society welcomes vegetarians, vegans and omnivores alike. We meet every one or two weeks to cook a meal together at someone's house, as well as holding special events throughout the year. At our cooking sessions, which are normally but not always on a Monday evening, we ask for a contribution towards ingredients (£2 for members and £3 for non-members). In the past, Veggie Soc has visited farmers' markets, restaurants and urban farms. We've also held jam making workshops, cheese and wine nights and picnics in the park.

If you want to meet some like minded people and eat until you burst, then join Veggie Soc. We're a society focused on enjoying and sharing good vegetarian and vegan food. Whether you're a tofu-addict, a Quorn-fiend or if you like your steak and ribs - all are welcome!

- Monday 12th 6pm, Union steps = AGM in Union and meal out at Hansa's

Membership

The standard membership fee is £5. This entitles you to one free session and members' rates at future events.
