Real Ale

About Us

There is nothing better to wake yourself up after falling asleep in the library than a pint of real ale. Our society is about trying the thousands upon thousands of different ales and ciders in the world while having a laugh with friends.

This year the society is planning to be bigger and better.  Not only are we planning to visit the many Real Ale pubs around Leeds and the surrounding areas, we are planning Brewery tours, visiting beer festivals, Ale Exchanges with other Real Ale Societies in the UK and a trip to Europe during the Easter break.

To join in the fun is a small membership fee of £5.  We welcome students and non-students, (although please see the Union's policies on non-students within societies) whether you are a Real Ale fanatic or a newbie!

More information about the society can be found on our face book page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=137668096243692&ref=ts  or you can email us on luurealale@gmail.com

Looking forward to meeting you!
