Henna Society aims to promote the art of henna amongst students from different cultures and backgrounds. Henna or ‘mehndi’- the urdu/hindi term-is used during a celebratory event or festival such as Eid, Diwali, Vaisakhi; as well as during weddings and parties which uses henna as a symbol of celebration and tradition.

Henna has been passed down from years of tradition and culture and evolved from simple floral designs to intricate patterns.
