General Interest Groups

We meet every week to debate and talk over a plethora of issues; we debate anything and everything from sport to politics. We'll teach you the principals of debate and argumentation as well as formidable public speaking skills. Debates range from covering serious everyday polemics to other more lighthearted issues such as "Which is better? Man or Woman?". Come along if it sounds like you'd enjoy yourself, we'd love to have you! 

Standard Membership:

-Access to the LDU training materials
-Access to all LDU debate workshops and debates -the chance to get personal feedback from experienced judges -coaching in both public speaking and debating skills
-Access to all LDU socials -Reg Fees paid for for one inter-university competion

Gold Membership:

This is the membership for those who want to really develop as a speaker and debate nationally and internationally. It gets you; -Reg Fees paid for for 3 inter-university competition
