Weekly Events
Thursdays
During term time we have weekly Anime showings on Thursdays between 6.30pm and 9.00pm. (see leedsanime.com for locations)
It's a bring & vote system where we watch five series a week. So we basically watch whatever you guys want to watch!
Some of last year's favourites were Durarara, Ouran High School Host Club, the new Full Metal Alchemist, Nana and Afro Samurai.
We always have a pre-showing social in the Old Bar from 5:30pm for a drink, catch up and some food.
It's generally best to turn up to this if you're confused to where the showing's going to be or you're not sure about how to get there!
Sundays
We have cyclic monthly events including Gaming Days, Marathon Showings, Cosplay & Drawing Workshops and Theme nights which mean there is usually something going on every sunday! Again check leedsanime.com or our join our facebook group for details!
Semi-Regular Events
Also watch out for our Monday Film nights which are followed by group karaoke, Bowling trips and joint events with other societies like the annual Xmas party, Manga Art workshops,Thought Bubble Festival the Weekend Away, Quizzes, Convention Trips, Socials, Days out, Picnics, etc.

Membership is only £4.50 for the year and you get 10% off everything at Travelling Man and Forbidden Planet as well as free admittance to our showings and regular events, and access to our ever expanding library of anime, manga, video games and reference books!
If you're interested, whether you're completely new to anime or have been watching it for years, come on down and check us out- we’re a very inclusive and friendly bunch! It’s a great way to meet like-minded people and you certainly don't have to join up straight away! I promise it'll be good fun!
