Culture Groups

British Born Chinese

About Us

We are the BBC Society, where we welcome and celebrate the culmination of our two cultures. It is a society that brings together those who were born or raised in Britain, whilst maintaining a proud foot in our Chinese heritage. However, it is not just limited to BBCs as we welcome anybody from anywhere who just want to join and appreciate all things Chinese!

ur society revolves around socials, sports and fun!
Our events aim to bring our members together in a variety of ways, ranging from sport events, clubbing, paintballing and more!

We also embrace a prominent feature in our culture: The food.
We organise outings to Chinese restaurants and include various food-related challenges.

Finally, we make a point to co-operate with the other Oriental societies to organise more large scale events.

The 2011-2012 Committee are:

  • Lea Wah Lee - President
  • Zoe Lee - Vice President
  • Sylvia Suyeon Wong - Secretary
  • Matthew Chiu - Treasurer
  • Penny Cheung - Events Manager
  • Rico Yeo - Sports Manager
