Welcome to Leeds University and welcome to Cathsoc. My name is Paul Lobaz and I am the Catholic society president for this academic year! A bit about Cathsoc: we are a group who meet after the student Mass on Sunday at 5pm. We celebrate Mass together at the Catholic Chaplaincy building which is very close to the engineering building. We welcome ALL people to our socials and events.  

We host a variety of different socials throughout the year from meals out, bowling, parties, trips to the pub, hikes in the dales, hikes to the coast, bbqs, charity and games plus so much more! And what's more you get to meet lots of like-minded people!

We appreciate that many of you will be living away from home for the very first time and yes you have the freedom to choose whether or not you'll come to Mass and join in with our socials. University is a tough place to adapt to! All we ask is that you come and see what we have to offer - Cathsoc and the Catholic Chaplaincy offers you a place of solace, peace and support during your hectic uni days - 'a home from home.'

Mass is celebrated at 10am and 5pm every Sunday with various Masses celebrated throughout the week too. Cathsoc host their socials on SUNDAY after 5pm mass - come and join us! You're very welcome.
