About Us

Welcome to Leeds Criminal Justice Society!

Crim-soc (The Leeds University Criminal Justice Society) exists mainly to provide for the Criminology and Criminal Justice students at the University although we encourage those with an interest in our topic of study to join us. It is a great way to meet fellow students away from the lecture theatre with social events to cater for all students.

What we do

  • Socials- Nights out offer a great way to meet your coursemates
  • Sports teams- we offer 5 aside football and hopefully getting a netball team sorted for this year
  • Guest speakers from various areas of the Criminal Justice System
  • Merchandise such as t-shirts and hoodies
  • Membership cards which will offer you discounts for our nights out.
  • Sponsorship deals are trying to be sorted so you can recieve discounts in and around university with your membership cards.

Do you have the talent to represent Clubs and Societies?

If you need help regarding your club and society, the Development Coordinators, who work in the Union's ARC (the Activities and Resource Centre), provide support, advice and help with all student activities. Each Development Coordinator is responsible for a different group of activities. Find out who your Development Coordinator is!
