About Us

Compsoc - Leeds Computing Society

CompSoc is officially re-launching with a new committee and getting ready to boot things up with a bang! So when your CPU gets over-worked, come and blow off some steam and get involved with CompSoc Bowling, Football, Game Competitions and much, much more!

This year your committee is making every effort to bring the world of IT and Computer Science to you by bringing in several guest speakers who'll be giving talks on the ever-changing world of Computing at events open to the general public, but only free for members of CompSoc (not to mention free food and drink).

So far this semester, we've got a whole host of activities planned including movie nights, game competitions, Otley runs, and some big nights out as part of the Faculty of Engineering so bring your friends and come and get involved!

With more events that you can shake a joystick at, CompSoc is a society for like minded people, and open to everyone – not just the School of Computing. Keep up to date with the current goings-on through facebook and our twitter feed, but don't forget – only members of CompSoc get the discounts for these events, so please join and get involved!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Ryan through the email address on this page, or leave a message on the facebook or twitter!
