Compsoc bridges the gap between your studies and your social life.

Throughout the year, we organise social events, such as pub crawls and gaming nights, which act as a great way to meet friends.

 

We also organise guest lectures from leading people and companies in the Computing Industry, lightning talks (5-15 min talks on a variety of topics) by both students and staff within the department.

 

New this year we have planned a series of interactive workshops and seminars focussing on modern Web Development techniques and general day-to-day UNIX use.
