Biomedical Sciences Society (BMScSoc)is for everyone studying Medical Sciences, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Human Physiology...or anyone who is interested in these areas!

This year will be seeing the re-launch of BMScSoc. We're already working closely with the Faculty and with the Union Exec to bring you opportunities and offers that are unique to your degree programme.

 

We have three aims:

1) To impact your social life

2) To support your academic life

3) To help with your career path

  

Here's a rough outline of our upcoming events:

  •  BMScSoc Intro Party @ Mine - Thursday 6th October (Free drinks for members)

  •  RELAUNCH COCKTAIL NIGHT @ Mook (date tbc)

  •  Speed Networking with industry professionals and staff

  •  Guest lectures from prospective employers and careers experts

  •  Opportunities to meet alumni and discuss their experiences

  •  End of the World Party (Zombies Vs. Scientists)

  •  Christmas Mixer (giving you the opportunity to meet your faculty staff in an informal setting and discuss your degree)

  •  We're hoping to work with FoBSoc to bring our members a MASSIVE Christmas Ball.

  •  Trip abroad over Easter (Our members will be choosing where at the Relaunch Party)

 

We've already been recognized by the Union Exec as being the society with the BEST relationship with your course reps and faculty. So join and get involved.

Being a smaller society means we have an all-inclusive attitude which allows our members to easily make friends. It also means we can give you what you want. So give us your ideas!

If you need help regarding your club and society, the Development Coordinators, who work in the Union's ARC (the Activities and Resource Centre), provide support, advice and help with all student activities.
