About Us

“For those with a passion to break”

Leeds University Breakers (LUU breakers) was born in 1997,  this now 12 year old society has grown from its small roots to be a large group of B-boys and girls who have the desire to dance.  Our passion has led us to the university championships and numerous jams around the country. we battle to win.

We are very open to new members and encourage people of all experiences to come along and give it a go.

We have training 3 times a week in “The Refectory”, “Stylus” and “The Treehouse” inside the Leeds university union. On Mondays in Stylus and Wednesdays in the Refectory from 7.30 pm. Fridays will be in The Treehouse from 6pm.

Summer Training sessions in the Treehouse from 5-10pm (Mon/Wed/Fri).

We currently have membership at £15 for the year and we offer lessons at £3  per session on fridays. Lessons are 5pm-6pm. Lessons are open to everyone from complete beginners to those who want to continue to develop their own styles.

For more information and times check us out on facebook “LUU Breakers”

Please note that the Summer training updates and any changes to training times/venues will be available to you, if you join the "LUU Breakers"  on facebook.
