  • Over £325,000 was donated to charity by Leeds RAG in 2012

  • The Leeds RAG Amsterdam Hitch has raised £4,256.02 for UNICEF

  • The Leeds RAG Take Me Out event raised £1,382.22 for Leeds Women's Aid

  • The Leeds RAG London Raid raised £3,641.51 for the children's charity Bernardo's

Leeds RAG Community Fund

Raised across a variety of fund raising events throughout the year the Leeds RAG community fund supports mostly local (as well as a few national and international) charities with an annual turnover of less than £150,000.

This year 29 charities will benefit from cash grants of between £250 and £1000. Events during Rag Week including a 12 hour bikathon, cake and muffin sales contributed to this year's community fund total.

The biggest boost to this year’s community fund came when the University agreed to donate £14,000 representative of library fines paid during Rag Week.
