We've developed a new visual style to support our new charity status, new strategic plan and remodelled building. This was on the back of the review where 4,500 students told us they wanted us to get more personal and to talk about the impact of our work.

 

Our Logo

Above is current Leeds University Union logo. It isn't currently availabe as a download for staff as there are branded templates in our resources section. If you need a copy of the logo please talk to Nat in Marketing, who will discuss how it should be used (minimum sizes, widths, colour combinations and so on).

If you are passing the logo onto a third party/external supplier please ask Nat to send you a copy of our visual guidelines to ensure that our logo is being used correctly.

 

Please discard of any old logos you might have. This logo is not in use any more and can be deleted.

Our Fonts

The Union has two core organisational fonts: Stag and Century Gothic. Stag is only available for jobs that go through the design team.

Stag

Stag (below) is a font that comes in many different weights and styles. The design team use stag in all design work for Leeds University Union and you will see this come through on the proofs that you receive.

 

Century Gothic

Everyone else in the organisation should use Century Gothic (below) for ALL other documents. Please see the templates in the resources section for some advice on how to layout your documents. Century Gothic is a default font on all PCs so you should have it. If you don’t, please contact Ian Whitehead, IT Manager, at email: i.whitehead@leeds.ac.uk.

Our Colour Scheme

As well as a new visual style and logo, we also have a new colour scheme.

We still give priority to our organisational colour purple; however, other colours may be used to complement our identity.
