Exec Blog

The blog of the six elected leaders of your students' union, working full time to make your time in Leeds even better. Find out more.

Where would you rather sit?

It’s Friday afternoon. You’re sat in a non-descript Roger Stevens’s lecture theatre. You know the lecturer is saying something important but you can’t quite concentrate. The lighting, the floors, the walls, the chairs, it’s just not quite right….

Well, this summer the University is going to begin an overhaul of some of its main teaching spaces. The main targets are the Roger Stevens lecture theatres, the Worsley Building, the Conference Auditorium and a broad range of other spaces (see full list below).

I need your help shaping these rooms for the future. As the principal users, it’s right that Leeds Uni students should play a huge role in reshaping them.

There’s a short survey here, and you can always send any comments to m.sewards@leeds.ac.uk or you can tweet me - @MarkJSewards.
