Hi
If you didn’t already know then the Leadership Race to decide which six students will lead LUU next year has begun. Although clubs and societies don't receive a vote, as a member of the Union you and all of your members do, so by endorsing candidates you can ensure your group's voice is heard.
Endorsing a candidate can take many forms; you could decide to join in and campaign with them, post on your Facebook and Twitter accounts or you could write about the Leadership Race on your website. If you want to find out more about the Leadership Race then visit the website.
By endorsing a candidate you are able to get your views heard and support the candidate that best suits your needs when it comes to clubs and societies. Endorsing a candidate couldn’t be easier.
Here's a quick guide to help you along:
-
Decide which roles/candidates you would like to endorse – speak to your members about this. You can endorse one candidate from every role if you wish to! Meet all the candidates here.
-
Let all your members know you are endorsing candidates and who they are/why you are. You should ask your members if they have any objections.
-
Get involved and start endorsing the candidates! If you want to know how then speak to your Dev Co and the candidates themselves!
If you need any further information or support with this then please contact me or your current Activities Reps.
Many Thanks
