If you’re having problems registering or logging in, we’ll help you get sorted. 

Whatever the problem, we’ll try to resolve it quickly.
 

 

I don't know my ISS username and password


Your ISS username and password are used to access many University services, including the Portal. Your ISS username is on the front of your student card, and forms the first half of your email address (before the '@' symbol).

 

You should receive instructions for obtaining your ISS username and password during registration. If you've completed registration with the University but haven't set up your ISS username and password, you can do it here.

'Account not matched' error (students)


You will not be able to login until your details have entered our database. This may be up to several days after you have completed registration.

If this problem persists, please email our helpdesk here. Please send your email from your University of Leeds email address, and include your full name and student number. 

We’ll confirm your current student status and set your account up for you, usually within one working day.
 

 

I cannot log in (staff/guests)


Please note that after registering you must validate your account. A validation email will be sent to your registered email address and you must follow the link in that email to finish setting your account up. Please allow up to 30 minutes for the email to arrive, if after this time you have not received it please email our helpdesk for assistance.
